Business came to us with the new experiment where they wanted to pitch existing product without GST amount so they can lurked user better, they wanted us to integrate GST in payment flow some how such that it doesn’t affect the overall conversion rate negatively.

Approach we took is to inform user about the GST upfront in the entire journey, and hypothesis we had that user is already making so many payments and well aware of the concept of GST, by clearly informing and educating user about the extra amount that he is paying will won’t affect his/her decision

We implemented design changes based on these hypothesis and luckily we achieved 15% uplift in revenue while maintaining the same conversion rate
